Adapters
Adapters are available at the reception. We charge a deposit of CHF 25.00 on your room bill. Please return the adapter to the reception after use or on departure and we will cancel the deposit.
Bar
We are happy to spoil you from 12:00 onwards at our hotel bar "La Montgolfière" my selection of drinks and snacks.
Breakfast
- For the early risers: daily from 04:30 to 10:00 we offer our "Express Breakfast" with a coffee/tea, 1 croissant, 1 orange juice and a fruit for CHF 9.00.
- For a great start to the day: our varied and fresh breakfast buffet in the Hangar 9 restaurant, daily from 06:00 to 10:00 for CHF 25.00 per person.
Business center
In the lobby you can use our business center free of charge. Here you can copy, print faxes and use the Internet.
Casino
The Airport Hotel Basel is connected with the Grand Casino of the Groupe Tranchant, the Swiss Las Vegas. This combination is unique in the region. Access to the Grand Casino is only allowed to adults (18 years and older) with a valid passport or ID.
Conference room
Our conference rooms Saint Exupéry & Le Petit Prince are located on the second floor. For more information on reservations, prices offers, etc., please contact the reception desk if you are interested.
Departure
We kindly ask you to vacate your room by 12:00 noon on the day of departure. If you stay longer in our area, we will be happy to store your luggage in our separate luggage room. We are also happy to assist you with luggage service. Please contact the reception.
Fitness
On the second basement floor you will find our generously equipped fitness center with Techno-Gym equipment, which is available 24 hours free of charge.
Foreign exchange
We are happy to exchange the following foreign currencies into Swiss Francs at the reception: Euro, English Pound & US Dollar.
Garage
You have the option of parking your car in our 24-hour video-monitored underground garage in the basement at CHF 15.00 per night. This service is included for guests who have booked directly at the hotel or via the hotel website.
Ice machine
You will find an ice machine on each floor near the elevators. Please help yourself!
Internet
W-LAN is available free of charge in the entire house. In addition, secured High Speed Internet (cable connection) can be used in the rooms. The internet connection in the Business Corner (on the ground floor) is also free of charge.
Laundry & Ironing Service
We offer an express laundry service Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and holidays. Please use the laundry bag in your room for your dirty laundry and bring it with the completed laundry list to the reception by 09:00. Your clothes will be returned to you on the same day by 17:30. Upon request, we will be happy to bring an ironing board and an iron to your hotel room. Please contact the reception desk.
Minibar items
On each floor you will find a drinks machine including small snacks, which you can conveniently operate with your room card.
Payment
We accept the following payment methods. American Express, Visa, Mastercard, EC-Maestro, Postfinance, TWINT and cash. It is also possible to pay your bill in Euro, but only notes are accepted and you will not get back Euro, but Swiss Francs. Pay here in your card currency and benefit from:

Restaurants in the Hotel and Grand Casino Basel
- The Hangar 9 restaurant is open daily from 12:00 to 24:00 - Saturdays and Sundays until 01:00
- Express breakfast daily from 04:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the Hangar 9 restaurant
- Breakfast buffet daily from 06:00 to 10:00 in the Hangar 9 restaurant
- Snack Bar in the "Slot" area of the Grand Casino daily from 12:00 hrs.
- Hotel Bar La Montgolfière daily from 12:00 until 24:00
Please note that access to the restaurants is allowed only to vaccinated, recovered or tested persons, under the implementation of an access control.
Safe
We recommend that you keep your valuables in the room safe. Please leave the safe open when you leave. The hotel is not liable for thefts and damages.
Sauna
If you would like to use the sauna, please contact the reception. We will be happy to switch it on for you on request from 5.00 pm to 11.00 pm. It takes about 20 minutes until it is hot.

Shoes
Our shoe shine machines are located on each floor between the elevators. Small shoe shine sponges and shoe shine gloves are available at reception.
Shuttle Bus
Our free shuttle bus will gladly take you to the trade fair, the airport and to desired locations in the city of Basel and the surrounding area. Contact our reception to reserve a shuttle (upon request & subject to availability).
Toiletries
Toothbrushes with toothpaste, shaving kit and sewing kit are available at the reception in case you forgot something at home.
Wake-up service
We are happy to wake you up personally. Please let us know the time when you want to be woken up by calling 60000.
